It?s no doubt one of the most-anticipated films of the year, and ?The Ides of March? premiered at the annual Venice Film Festival on Wednesday evening (August 31).
Big names such as George Clooney, Marisa Tomei, Evan Rachel Wood, Paul Giamatti and Phillip Seymour Hoffman proudly walked the red carpet ahead of their movie's debut screening.
Also on hand for the festival opening festivities were supermodel Cindy Crawford and husband Rande Gerber, as well as lovely actress Diane Kruger.

Directed by Clooney while telling the story of "an idealistic staffer for a newbie presidential candidate who gets a crash course on dirty politics during his stint on the campaign trail," ?The Ides of March? is set to hit US theaters on October 7th.
